Care for your: Anthurium

Care difficulty: EASY

Anthurium's, or more commonly, flamingo flowers, are an easy care flowering plant that brings exotic beauty and tranquillity to any environment. As the heart-shaped flowers form, they transition from a beautiful deep green to a perfect, pristine white.

How to care:

Light - Plenty of bright indirect light - do not place in direct afternoon sunlight

Water - Allow the top of the soil to dry out before watering (check on your plant once per week) - do not let the soil to stay too wet as anthuriums are susceptible to root rot.

Air - These guys love humid air - mist their leaves (but not their flowers) every few days or use a humidifier!

Location - Put me in a location that gets plenty of indirect light. Keep her away from cold areas of the house in the winter, for example, on drafty windowsills. You could keep her in a humid location like your kitchen or bathroom! 

Food - Use one plant food capsule (comes with the plant!) and replace after 6 months.
